Tom Hartley has over 20 years of experience developing pricing and market strategies in high growth and emerging industries. Most recently at Wolters Kluwer, Tom was Director of Solutions Packaging. While there, he built global pricing strategies and created packaging frameworks based on market personas.
Prior to Wolters Kluwer, Tom led the Market Economics and Intelligence Team at McKesson Health Solutions. As head of the ME&I Team, Tom developed pricing strategies and managed pricing operations across the group’s portfolio of solutions. This team also performed market analyses and ran “Voice of the Customer” programs that informed long range strategic planning and new product business cases.
Prior to McKesson Health Solutions, Tom spent 12 years leading engagements with top consulting companies, such as The Strategic Pricing Group (now Deloitte) and Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman), as well as other industry leading boutiques.
Tom was the 2016 Keynote speaker at the JPK Business Forecasting and Analytics Summit in Boston, MA. He holds a MBA in Marketing, Finance and Information Science from Indiana University. He is also a three-time member of the US National Rowing Team and competed at the World Rowing Championships from 1990 to 1992.
Lisa Spadafora Thompson
Lisa Thompson is founder and CEO of Sturbridge Growth Partners, a network of experienced consultants and experts focused on driving profitable organic growth for clients. Prior to founding Sturbridge Growth Partners, Lisa was a partner with Deloitte Consulting LLP in their Strategy Service line, Monitor Deloitte. She has over two decades of management consulting experience helping clients reach organic growth goals and increase gross profits through better pricing across a variety of industries. She has worked for Fortune 100 companies, mid-sized firms, start-ups, and non-profits. Prior to joining Deloitte, Lisa was a senior partner at Monitor Group (acquired by Deloitte in 2013) and served on the firm’s board of directors.
Lisa has an MBA from Babson College, ranked as the #1 MBA program in Entreprenuerial studies for 24 straight years and a BA from Regis College.
Director of Analytics
Melinda has over 8 years of experience building complex analytical models ranging from discount pricing analyses, to market segmentation and customer data studies. These models often pull from large, disorganized data sources that require meticulous restructuring, and linking in order to draw meaningful insights. Melinda is intellectually curious and is never one to cut corners. She makes sure she fully comprehends the data, the issues, and the goals of each project.
Melinda worked in the Market Economics and Intelligence team at McKesson Health Solutions, where she supported Tom Hartley’s pricing initiatives, and worked closely with the Sales, and Strategic Development teams. Prior to her time at Mckesson, Melinda worked at Huron Consulting Group in the Disputes and Investigations team, and then at Grant Thornton in the Economic Advisory Services group. During this time, she conducted a wide variety of analyses to support financial and economic litigation expert witnesses. Melinda has a Masters in Economics and Bachelors in Finance from Lehigh University.
